The Anderson Avenue shop opened in 2016 and is in no way affiliated with the Callahan's in Norwood, owned by Dan DeMiglio, former shop owner Leonard Castrianni's nephew.

The original Callahan's in Fort Lee closed in 2006, and was owned by DeMiglio's grandfather.

DeMiglio, however, brought Callahan's back from the dead in a food truck in 2014, and the following year opened the eatery's first brick and mortar store in Norwood.

He gained international attention last year for his Truffle Mac And Cheese Burger, which had people calling from Japan and road-tripping from across the country just for a taste.

DeMiglio has since opened another two food trucks.
