The app — LiqCures — that allows users to connect to the nearest liquor stores for delivery or pick up.

"I'm just an avid wine drinker and I wanted something better," Vargas, 24 of Teaneck, told Daily Voice.

He thought of the concept in July, when he and his girlfriend both wanted a bottle, but were too lazy to go get it themselves.

After some research, he found that his concept had already been out there in larger cities, but Vargas said he wants to bring it to the suburbs of New Jersey.

LiqCure users will be able to order delivery items (from stores that offer delivery service) and can place orders from their phones for the store to set aside for pick-up immediately or at a later time, Vargas explained.

Customers can also search specific types of alcohol and the app will connect them to the stores that carry it.

Vargas is hoping for a December or January rollout.
