The beauty brand Philosophy is celebrating the launch of its WellBeing Workshop in the Westfield Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus.

The grand opening event runs through Saturday, Dec. 10.

The concept store is reportedly a first for the purveyor of moisturizers, fragrances and cleansers.

The lighting is warm and there are comfy places for customers to sit and relax as they contemplate inspirational phrases such as “Live Beautifully” and “Hope & Grace” that adorn the shop’s walls.

In its mission statement, Philosophy touts the workshop as “a mind/body journey that piques curiosity, encourages experimentation, tickles the intellect and connects with your inner being.”

Part of that experience involves a “discovery station” where shoppers can get hands-on with skincare products.

Also on offer are personal consultants and a “conversation circle” that shoppers can use to connect with others in the “Philosophy community,” and virtual reality guided meditations with its "well-being ambassador," Gabby Bernstein.

Bernstein is a motivational speaker, life coach and author who has been described by The New York Times as a "guru for the next generation."

Fun stuff aside, Philosophy really knows how to put its money where its moisturizer is: 1 percent of every purchase goes straight to the Hope and Grace Fund.

The nonprofit supports women’s mental health issues by acting as an online resource where anyone can find tips, news, profiles and other information, it says, “in a safe, private, welcoming atmosphere.”

The shop is located on level 2 of the mall.

The mall is located at 1 Garden State Plaza Blvd. Its main offices can be reached by calling (201) 843-2121.
