The Acoustic Café Music Series Hungerthon Benefit is Sunday, Nov. 20, at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Park Ridge.
The last show of the series, it will feature singer-songwriters, Willie Nile, Marshall Crenshaw and Joe D’Urso.
There will be an opening set by Sarah Chesler, Christopher Brown and Isabella Englert.
WhyHunger, the organization founded in 1975 by Harry Chapin, enlists performing artists to raise funds and awareness for the most innovative and effective community-based organizations fighting hunger and poverty all across the world.
Willie Nile has toured across the United States with The Who and has sung with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. His latest album is "World War Willie."
Marshall Crenshaw's career spans three decades. He has produced 13 albums and hundreds of songs, some featured on several film soundtracks and covered by such artists as Robert Gordon, Bette Midler and the Gin Blossoms.
Joe D’Urso is on the board of directors for Why Hunger and The Light of Day Foundation and presenter of the Rockland/Bergen Music Festival. With his roots/rock band, Stone Caravan, D’Urso has released 13 CDs.
All proceeds will benefit WhyHunger & the OLM Haiti Scholarship Fund.
Non-perishable food items will be collected at this show for the local food pantry.

The benefit/concert is from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Academy, 25 Fremont Ave., Park Ridge, N.J.
