OLD TAPPAN, N.J. — A New York-based dance company and a young vocalist raised $1,100 for a cancer organization at a fundraising event at Old Tappan Manor.
New York Dancesport and Aly Frank — a 22-year-old singer who has been working with the dancers to produce her first music video — will be donating the money raised on Nov. 21 to Stand Up To Cancer.
“Singing isn't just a hobby for me, its a gift and I want to put it to good use,” Frank told Daily Voice. “I want to make a difference and positive impact.”
Frank plans on performing at more benefit concerts and hosting her own in the future.
