MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Guns in Westchester County is Thursday evening's topic of discussion on LMCTV's "Local Live."
The weekly cable television show's guests include Mamaroneck resident Mark Lane and Westchester County Legislator Catherine Parker of Rye, one of nine Democratic legislators who recently voted to ban the sale of guns on county property. The 9 to 8 vote was prompted by news that a gun show was returning to the County Center in White Plains this weekend as reported here by Daily Voice.
Other local gun news has included the opening of a gun store at Harrison Mall, as reported here. It continues to be the subject of community debate and zoning law discussions.
And some communities, including the Village of Rye Brook, have passed local laws to restrict gun sales as reported here.
Join Parker and others to discuss how guns should be dealt with in our communities at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 or by following the livestream broadcast by clicking here:
Readers or viewers also can ask Parker and her hosts questions by calling (914) 381-0150, by emailing thelocallive@lmctv.org or by tweeting @thelocallive #WestchesterGuns
