Strollers are welcome at the run/walk event, however no bicycles, scooters, rollerblades or dogs are permitted.
Check-in is at 142 Terrace St., Haworth and the schedule is,
- 8 a.m. Check-in begins
- 8:45 a.m.- Town Motors Fun Run starts
- 9:30 a.m. - 5K Run/Walk begins
- 10:30 a.m. - Awards Ceremony
Awards will be presented to,
- Top Three Male and Female Finishers Overall
- Five Year Age Groups- 1st Three Finishers; 9 & Under to 90 & Over
- Top Five Male and Female Haworth Finishers
A t-shirt and race packets will be given to all pre-registrants while supplies last, which can be picked up on Friday, Sept. 23, 5-7 p.m. The Haworth Road Runners Association, Inc., 142 Terrace St.
The 5K registration fee is $25; there is no charge for the Fun Run/Walk.
The Haworth Road Runners Association was founded by local Haworth residents and business owners in order to organize and promote a 5K run/walk through the town.The Association designed a course to showcase the natural and architectural beauty of Haworth and raise money for local charitable organizations.
One of the goals of the HRRA is to promote health and well-being in the community. The event is for people of all ages and abilities.
All monies raised will be donated to local non-profit organizations such as the school, library, volunteer fire department and ambulance corps.
