Books & Greetings is hosting the book signing with Batali, whose new book "Mario Batali -- Big American Cookbook: 250 Favorite Recipes from Across the USA" just came out Oct. 4. He's written or co-written more than a dozen books.
Batali also has been a fixture on TV for more than a decade, as co-host on shows like "The Chew," host of "Molto Mario," on the Food Network's "Iron Chef America" and as a guest on a wide variety of TV shows.
He and a partner also own more than two dozen restaurants.
"This is a ticketed event," the store notes. "When you purchase your book, you will receive a numbered ticket, which is your number in the signing line."
The signing will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. The book shop is at 271 Livingston St.
