The carnival featured a variety of mostly doggie-themed activities:
- a "Smooch a Pooch" booth;
- a pet parade with a costume contest;
- a dog show, with ribbons awarded for best smile, "waggiest tail, owner and dog look-alike, cutest ears and most interesting markings;
- a best pet tricks competition;
- "pooch pics and photo booth," to pose either with dogs, in a dog cutouts or with props;
- a jumpy castle -- though only for two-legged participants;
- face painting and nail clipping;
- various vendors; and
- snacks, hot dogs and treats from the Cupcake Cutie truck.
