Valley Regional Programs PTO Holds Annual Casino Night Fundraiser

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- A casino night fundraiser takes place April 1 at the Rockleigh Country Club and will honor a leader in special education.

Valley Regional Programs PTO will Honor Kathy Vuoncino, Director of Region III Council for Special Education at its Annual Casino Night fundraiser.

Vuoncino is being recognized for her outstanding leadership of the Valley, T.I.P, Access, and Little Tots programs and innovative work in educating children with special needs. 

Proceeds from the Casino Night fundraiser will help support the Valley Regional Program’s PTO-sponsored activities for Valley, T.I.P, Access, and Little Tots students. 

Reservations are available through March 25 for $90. Admission the night of the event is $125. 

The admission price is per person and includes cocktail reception, dinner, open bar, DJ, “funny money” to be used at the gaming tables, tricky tray prizes, and Silent Auction prizes.

PTO-funded programs serve more than 200 children from 40 towns in Northern New Jersey. Many activities are not included in the Valley Program’s curriculum, and their continued availability depends upon PTO support. 

Additional funding is anticipated as a result of the Valley and Little Tots move to a new facility in Norwood. 

The Valley, T.I.P, and Access Programs offer education for preschool through grade 12 and serves special needs children with various learning challenges and disabilities and those on the Autism Spectrum. 

Little Tots is a full inclusion preschool that is an extension of Valley Regional programs. 

The Rockleigh Country Club is located at 26 Paris Ave., Rockleigh.
