Aging-Services Expert Katie Sloan Speaks In Rockleigh

ROCKLEIGH, N.J. -- Katie Sloan, the new president and chief executive officer of LeadingAge spoke on “Finding Solutions in Challenging Times: Making an Impact Together," on Tuesday, Feb.16, at the Jewish Home in Rockleigh.

At LeadingAge, Sloan is responsible for building stronger and more effective relationships among the association's key stakeholders, including state associations and their leadership, member organizations, and strategic affiliates.

LeadingAge New Jersey is the statewide association of not-for-profit senior care organizations and is dedicated to advancing quality aging services in New Jersey through advocacy, education, and fellowship. 

Founded in 1931, the organization believes in affirming the enduring value of our seniors to society, to family and to the community; promoting quality, stewardship and choice in aging services; advancing mission driven values, compassionate services and public trust; being accountable to those we serve; and developing ethical leadership.

LeadingAge New Jersey represents not-for-profit nursing homes, assisted living residences, residential health care centers, independent senior housing, and continuing care retirement communities throughout the entire state. The organization serves over 140 member communities, many of which are supported through religious, fraternal and governmental sponsorship.
