Harrington Park Church Plans Dominican Republic Service Trip

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- The Community Church of Harrington Park is planning a service trip to the Dominican Republic in August.

The church will join forces with Foundation for Peace to work with people in impoverished areas. The groups will build a medical clinic, water treatment facility and a school or church. Members of the church also will conduct children's ministries and participate in worship services, as well as community outreach programs.

The trip is scheduled from Aug.10-18.
