Still Room On Harrington Park Mission Trip To Dominican Republic

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- Volunteers can still join The Community Church in Harrington Park mission trip Aug. 10 to 18 to the Dominican Republic.

A few of the 1,000 volunteers from all over the country who work to improve neighborhoods in the Dominican Republic with the Foundation for Peace. There is still room on The Community Church in Harrington Park mission trip leaving Aug. 10.

The church is joining Foundations for Peace to send a group to help local people in an impoverished area of the country.

Projects include helping to build a medical clinic, water treatment facility, school or church, depending on how many volunteers go.

There will be worship services, kids ministry activities, and community outreach through baseball or soccer games.

Service trips are for families and people of all ages. 

High school students under 18 may travel without a parent - parental consent forms required.
