Temple Beth El Of Northern Valley Holds Final 'Prayers On The Palisades'

CLOSTER, N.J. -- Temple Beth El will hold its final outdoor family-friendly open Shabbat service gathering, jointly with Temple Sinai of Bergen County of Tenafly, on Friday, Aug. 19.

The evening will be led by Rabbi David Widzer, along with Rabbi Jordan Millstein and Cantor Mitza Shama. This special event is free and open to all.

State Line Lookout is situated at the highest point on the Palisades Cliffs, with a large parking lot.

The service will begin at 6:30 p.m. In case of rain, it will be held at Temple Beth El, 221 Schraalenburgh Rd., in Closter.

At the July 22 "Prayers on the Palisades," Rabbi David Widzer of Temple Beth El, along with Rabbi Steven Sirbu and Cantor Ellen Tilem of Temple Emeth, led songs and prayers.
