Jon Hensley, an Old Tappan resident, turns 50 on Wednesday.
Hensley, an actor, singer and song writer, was born Aug. 26, 1965.
Hensley is best known for his role as Holden Snyder on the CBS Daytime Soap Opera “As the World Turns,” a role he held from 1985 until the show’s final episode in 2010. Hensley portrayed Dr. Meade on “The Bold and the Beautiful” from 2012-13. His acting career has also led to roles in “Beverly Hills 90210,” “Almost Perfect,” and the USA Network television movie “Wounded Heart.” Hensley married “As the Word Turns” co-star Kelley Menighan and the couple have three children.
