Determined to distribute three gifts to each family member, 11 girls and five parent leaders from Troop #94349 got busy early.

“They were in my garage wrapping up gifts," said Maritza Acosta, an employee of Englewood Cliffs' East Coast Auto Mall whose daughter is a scout.

The dealership has conducted the "full Christmas" program the past five years and brought the Girl Scouts in.

Last year, the girls earned their bronze awards last year by giving a family a “full Christmas."

On Monday, 83 scouts participated in a townwide after-school stocking stuffing event. One hundred eighty of the stockings will be split between organizations in Paterson and Elizabeth.

Having collected and wrapped the special this season's special gifts, the girls later this month will bring trees to other needy families while singing Christmas carols

"It takes a lot of time putting it all together," Acosta said, "but they were willing to do it all again."
