NORTHVALE, N.J. -- For a few terrifying moments, 12-year-old RJ Tracy of Northvale thought he might lose his younger sister.

Their parents called 911 after Madison Tracy, who has asthma and celiac disease, suffered a sudden attack at home last summer.

"I was sitting on the couch and everyone was surrounding me, trying to help me," Madison, 10, recalled.

"I was very scared for my sister's life," her brother told Daily Voice, fighting back tears. "I thought I was going to grow up without her."

Suzanne Soliman, a pharmacist at nearby US Pharmacy Lab, arrived moments later and administered Prednisolone (brand name: Orapred).

Those who were there won't soon forget what happened. Soliman, in fact, has become close friends with the Tracys.

"They are my favorite patients," she said.
