Fort Lauderdale Airport Gunman ID'd As New Jersey Native

The 26-year-old man who on Friday killed five people at a popular Florida airport has been identified by law enforcement as a New Jersey native, NBC New York reports.

Esteban Santiago, who shot 13 people at Fort Lauderdale airport, is the youngest of five siblings and has relatives living in Union City, according to NBC New York.

The shooter served in the U.S. National Guard "for years" and suffers from mental health problems, the story says.
