Haworth Starts Patriotic Pride Program

HAWORTH, N.J. -- The Borough of Haworth will show its patriotic spirit through a flag donation program in the spring that will also honor local heroes.

Residents can donate American flags to be flown throughout Haworth in the spring. A label with the name of a "hero" selected by the donor will be sewn onto the white heading of the flag with waterproof material.

There will be 60 flags hung up along Haworth Avenue and six more on various buildings.

A $25 donation is requested for a Haworth Avenue flag and $45 for a building.
