She was born on May 16, 1926 to the late Gerlando and Josephine Buccafusco. She attended the Jersey City Public Schools and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1943. She waited patiently for her future husband, the John B. Dinardo, to return home from war before they could wed on Nov. 23, 1946, a marriage that would ultimately last 65 years. Before retiring, she was a cook in the rectories at St. Paul of the Cross and St. Aedan’s churches in Jersey City. Most recently, she was a parishioner of St. Anastasia Church in Teaneck.
She is survived by her children, Maria Corso (Rosario) and John Dinardo; siblings, Angelina Scerbo, Salvatore Buccafusco; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband; parents; and siblings, Vincent, Dominic, Joseph, Tony, Anna, Minnie, Victoria, and Mary.
