OLD TAPPAN, N.J. —John M. Flanagan, of Old Tappan, died Saturday, Aug. 20. He was 73.
He had several senior positions in the telecommunications industry, serving as chief financial officer of several companies during his career.
He was the husband of Elaine (nee Ratiniere); father of Michele G. Flanagan of Hong Kong, China and Keith G. Flanagan and his wife Carolyn of LaGrange, Ill.; grandfather of Carter and Callie; and brother of Helen Tomasko and her husband Edward of Bethel, Conn.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius X RC Church, 268 Old Tappan Road, Old Tappan with entombment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale.
Donations can be made to the Old Tappan First Aid Corps or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
