NORWOOD, N.J. -- Lois Born, of Norwood, died Monday, Nov. 28. She was 83.
Born and raised in Connecticut and Vermont, she was a resident of Norwood for several years. She honorably served her country as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-55. She later worked for Alford Packaging in Ridgefield Park for many years.
She was survived by her daughter, Eileen Nungessor and her husband Robert; a sister, Shirley Clarke; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford. Father David Miliken will offer a prayer service beginning at 2:30 p.m. Friday during the visitation. She will be interred in Mountain View Cemetery, Cambridge in Vermont.
