LODI, N.J. -- Mary Scelzo, of Lodi, died on Tuesday, Feb. 28. She was 100.
She was "loved like a mother by her nieces Angela Nielsen-Gugliotta of Saddle Brook and Louise Savage of Harrington Park and their respective husbands, Richard and Scott," information from the funeral home noted.
Scelzo is also survived by six great-nieces and -nephews and one great-great-nephew. She was preceded by her siblings, Virginia Nielsen, Angelo Scelzo and Joey Scelzo.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at the Alesso Funeral Home, 91 Union St., in Lodi. A funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, in Saddle Brook, meeting directly at the church. A private cremation will follow.
