Errant Pickup Truck Climbs Utility Pole Anchor On Hackensack Street

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A pickup truck climbed a utility pole guy wire in Hackensack on Wednesday, leaving the front end of the vehicle suspended, after the Fairview driver misjudged a turn, police told Daily Voice.

No summonses were issued, police said.

Radu Amisculesei, 42, "was attempting to turn into the parking lot of 75 Essex Street, off of South State Street, when he misjudged the entrance" around 11:30 a.m., Capt. Brian Corcoran said.

The vehicle remained suspended until Court House Auto Body removed it.

"There were no injuries or summonses issued," Corcoran said.
