The Maple Street father told officers who responded to the call that she’d been driknking heavily when he put her to bed last night.

He wasn’t sure whether she’d taken any drugs, Lt. Thomas Ryan told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Ryan and Officer Thomas Reinecke conducted CPR on the woman, who wasn’t breathing and had a “very gray, ashen” skin tone, the lieutenant said.

Reineke administered a Narcan dose, after which they moved her to the floor and continued CPR, he said.

The woman began breathing and slightly opened her eyes.

They maintained her airway and administered rescue breathing until Haworth Ambulance Corps arrived and took her to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
