Rain-Slicked Paramus Crash Sends Mini-Van Onto Lawn, Driver To Hospital

PARAMUS, N.J. -- One driver was hospitalized, while the other complained of back pain but refused treatement after a crash Thursday on a rain-slicked Paramus road sent a minvan onto the lawn of a nearby home.

The mini-van driver was hospitalized after the crash with a sedan at the intersection of West Ridgewood Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard.

Both heavily damaged vehicles were removed from the scene by separate flatbed tow trucks.

Paramus police and a Bergen County sheriff's officer responded and assisted the victims.
