An arrest warrant charges Edward Andeliz with attempted murder and weapons possession following an investigation by city Detective Michael Quinones and Passaic County Prosecutor’s Detective Ricardo Ferreira of the Ceasefire Unit, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

Patrol units had responded to the area of 12th Avenue and East 23rd Street on March 1 a shots-fired report and didn't find a victim, Speziale said.

That's because he'd been driven in a private vehicle to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, he said.

Anyone who sees Andeliz or knows where to find him is asked to contact Quinones or Ferreira: (973) 321-1120.
