The driver got lost heading down Broadway and inadvertently turned onto the tracks around 7:30 p.m., Police Chief Jeffrey Krapels told Daily Voice.

He got out after getting stuck and called police, who showed up just as the CSX train slammed into the vehicle, Krapels said.

No cars derailed, no fuel was spilled and no injuries were reported after the train continued on before coming to a full stop, the chief said.
