NORTHVALE, N.J. -- A 26-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital after injuring her arms, pelvis and back during a fall at a Northvale indoor rock-climbing facility Monday night, authorities said.
Police responded to the the High Exposure Climbing Gym on Union Street around 6:30 p.m., Police Chief William Essmann told Daily Voice on Tuesday.
Northvale Ambulance Corps and Hackensack Medical Center paramedics also responded, he said.
Due to the severity of her injuries, AirMed One landed in Hogan's Park and then flew her to Hackensack University Medical Center after she was brought to the park by ambulance, the chief said.
