NORTHERN VALLEY, N.J. -- Northern Valley teachers earn the highest median salary in the Garden State, according to NJ.com.

Teachers in the Bergen County district have a median salary of $105,650, well over the statewide median of $66,117, NJ.com reported. 

Salary data was released on Thursday, April 20 as part of the annual guide to education spending, NJ.com said.
