The award-winning Push Cart Players received a pilot grant to bring the AIM to Achieve initiative to MLK School No. 6, the report said.

The afterschool program is being offered to students in first through fourth grades and will offer opportunities for participation in a number of artistic disciplines, Broadway World said.

A social-profit organization founded in 1974, Pushcart brings musical theater, workshops, and residencies to young people and their families in schools and theaters nationwide.
