HAWORTH, N.J. -- Psychologist Dr. Tamar Kahane, founder of the Kahane center, will explore the brain's executive functioning skills Wednesday at the Haworth Education Parent Advisory Committee event at Haworth Public School's multi-purpose room.
Kahane's presentation will explore the brain's executive function skills to understand why a student can struggle with starting, completing or turning in an assignment on time, prioritizing, planning, carrying out multi-step problems, organizing or misplacing backpacks, binders, cell phones or their rooms, remembering directions and maintaining stamina when faced with a challenging task.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m.
Haworth Public School is at 205 Valley Road, Haworth.
