The BCRA board is celebrating the following additions:

County, local and school officials have been invited to the event, which begins with Victoria Quartararo singing the National Anthem.

The BCRA has rowers from Tenafly, Englewood, Fort Lee, Cresskill, Norwood, Ramsey, Ho-Ho-Kus, and other Bergen County communities.

The academy has a lease with the Bergen County Department of Parks for a boat pen located in the Teaneck section of Overpeck County Park.

The academy offers Learn-to-Row, recreational, and competitive rowing programs for youth, collegiate rowers, and adults on any level of ability.

The coaching staff is led by head coach and BCRA founder Clemens Reinke, who began his rowing career in Germany and coached rowers of all ages at Nereid Boat Club, the Passaic River Rowing Association, and Don Bosco Preparatory High School. He also helped start the crew program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Leonia High School, was head coach at Teaneck High School and assisted with many other schools' programs.

He is assisted by coaches Ted Phillips, who rowed at Don Bosco; and Jenny Santos, who rowed for Kearny High School and the Passaic River Rowing Association.
