Northvale Blanket Makers Seek Yarn To Help Sick Kids

NORTHVALE, N.J. -- The James F. McGuire Memorial Senior Citizen Center is seeking donations of yarn.

The blanket makers are looking for four-ply acrylic yarn in pastel colors. 

Blankets will be donated to Hackensack University Hospital's Imus Center for Tomorrow's Children and the pediatric ward of Pascack Valley Hospital.

The Linus Project has crocheted more than a thousand blankets for seriously ill children since its inception.
