The series was just picked up for a third season and although author Pamela Redmond Satran doesn’t write for the show, she is thrilled with the adaptation of her work, according to northjersey.com.

Several of her other books almost made it to the screen, but got shelved during some stage of production, even after making pilots, Satran said, so it’s especially exciting to see something finally make it, says northjersey.com.

Satran relocated to Los Angeles and is working on several projects, including a television series and a new novel, according to northjersey.com.
