HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- The death of a 62-year-old Harrington Park man whose body was found in a backyard fire pit wasn't suspicious, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Tuesday.

The body of Michael Murtaugh was found early Monday afternoon in the backyard of his Harriot Avenue home, the prosecutor said.

"The cause of death is presently being determined by the medical examiner, but it is not deemed suspicious at this time," Grewal said just before noon Tuesday.
